Current EU MC Global Fellowship - GALSIZE:
Galaxy Sizes as Tracers of Dark Matter.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 893673.
Main research interests:
Dynamics of galaxies. Dark matter. Scaling relations. Big Data. Stellar structures in disk galaxies. Interplay between bars and rings, spirals, bulges, and active galactic nuclei. Secular evolution of disk galaxies. Star formation. Link between galaxy interactions and starbursts. Computer science techniques applied to big astronomical surveys. Machine learning. Education and science outreach.
